5 Levels of Leadership

^Click^ to Go to Video

New York Times' Best Selling Author  John C. Maxwell makes some valuable points about leadership in this talk at Chic-Fil-A Leadercast.

Level Number1
This level of leadership is about position, where the leader simply has a title. People only follow this leader because they have to, possibly in order to get a paycheck.

Level Number 2:
People follow this leader because they want  to. The key ingredient at this level is relationship. The leader is liked by his followers. This leader listens well, constantly observes his followers and is always learning. He has an attitude of servant-hood.

Level Number 3:

The production level. They key word is results. This leader produce by example. At this level, by the leader becoming productive in his own life, he attracts people who begin to be productive as well. These leaders try to create momentum which they use to solve problems.

Level Number 4:
This is the  people development level. A company is grown by growing its people. Keys to developing good people is recruitment. positioning and equipping. No matter how talented someone is, if he is out of position he will never reach his potential.

The 5 step equipping process is:
  1. The leader does is
  2. The leader does it and the follower observes
  3. The follower does is and the leader observes
  4. The follower does it on his own
  5. The follower does it and someone is with him(compounding).

Level Number 5:
The pinnacle level. They keyword at this level is respect. This leader is followed because of who he is and what he has done.

Leadership is an always ongoing, always learning, growing process. Every leader is on different levels with different people. People will respond differently when the leader casts a vision based on the level that leader is on with them.

I Did Not Know Bruce Lee Could Do That

See Video Below
Bruce Lee was such a great master with outstanding control over his mind and body as well as the tools which he used.

His greatness serves as an example of the potential each and every one of us has to be able to develop ourselves to such a level that even though it seems we are at a disadvantage, we are still able to use the tools that  we do have to succeed.

Men. Are you ready for a positive relationship?

Lenon Honor, author, musician, counselor, critical thinker, had a seminar recently in which he made some valuable points.

Everyone is deserving of abundance but is everyone prepared for it? Everyone is deserving of a positive relationship but is everyone prepared for one?
When reflecting on past relationships you should ask what was the lesson that the relationship was supposed to teach you.
Relationships are based upon the value that you place upon yourself.
Relationships are about developing your internal gravity rather than hoping someone finds you attractive.
Boys tend to cause problems. Men solve problems.

He lists 7 things every man can do to prepare for a positive relationship.
  1. Heal from past relationships.
  2. Transcend sexist programming.
  3. Identify and eliminate any  addictions that lower your value as a man.
  4. Work on becoming more responsible in all areas of you life: personally, verbally, physically, sexually, and financially.
  5. Develop a high degree off sexual discipline.
  6. Let go of any relationships that keep you operating below your true power as a man
  7. Define how a man functions within a positive male-female relationship.

Making money is mostly a matter of being balanced and organized.

Stuart Wilde writer, lecturer, music producer, known as the teacher's teacher makes a lot of valuable points in this speech.

The common man has to put in some transcendent energy to pull himself out of a system which is not designed to assist him.
He has to have a force of will that is stronger than the force of will trying to hold him back.Society does not teach us power and abundance.

When you do splendidly, that will allow you to help others on a greater level as you will be in a position to give back and create jobs.
Making money is mostly a matter of being balanced and organized.

The mind is able to hear affirmations 40db below the regular earshot. You are a product of all the thoughts and feelings of the people around you.

Society is different today than in times of the past when there was less to do.

All of the governments let all of the people down all of the time. They are only worried about their position.
The wealth of a nation is the individual man.

The only way to you can win your freedom is to have enough cash to pull out of the system and to disengage yourself from the feelings of the world so it is not controlling you. You have to force yourself to allow yourself to be in control of the money you make. You have to spend less than you earn and earn enough to buy the experiences you want.

Money is like manure. If you spread it around it makes things grow.

If you resonate poor feelings you have to stay poor. To have abundance, you have to begin to see abundance in those things that you actually have.

Going and meeting people is a way of expanding your energy.
Love people by serving them. Put your ego aside for their needs.

Aspiration, Attention, Alignment, Action

During an interview, MBA,Photographer, actor, life coach and author of the book "Wealth Secrets of the Ancients" made some valuable points. He mentioned abundance mentality and the fundamental law of you reap what you sow, in other words, karma.

He discussed the 4 essential A's  to help you achieve a goal:
- Aspiration - Decide what  you want to do
- Attention - Give it your attention
- Alignment -  Be joyous about it. Consider it your calling
- Action - It won't materialize until you do something

In regards to those who dislike their jobs and want another option he explained the importance of listening to your body, becoming the  master of your own destiny, starting to build a tunnel, learning and making a gradual transition.

He spoke about how successful people follow their passion and attract money
why poor people keep chasing money and wages and how the key to wealth is owning income producing assets e.g. houses, businesses. He stated that about 0.5% of the population own over 70% of the assets. He explained that culture of a household influences the way the children view the world and relate to people.

Who Did It Better?

who did it better?

Two quite amazing circus shots were made by two outstanding basketball players in two separate NBA games recently. One by John Wall of the Washington Wizards during a game against the Chicago Bulls and the other by Lance Stephenson of the Indiana Pacers during a game against the Atlanta Hawks. These were seriously two of the best trickshots I have EVER Seen. The degree of difficulty to execute and even come close to making such shots is really high (exactly why I'm gonna try them out the next time I go on the court lol)  It absolutely is a tough choice to decide which shot was the best.

You Deserve to Be Great!

Some Valuable Points:

You don't know how much time you have.

Being average is dangerous.

Average is contagious but just because others around you are being average does not mean you have to

Where there is no there is no progress

Practical Wisdom

Some Valuable Points:

Any work you do that involves interaction with other people is moral work.

One of the important thing that children need to learn is character.

Children need to learn to respect themselves, to respect others and to respect learning.

The virtue which is needed above others is practical wisdom because it allows other virtues to be displayed at the right time and in the right way.

Practical wisdom is the combination of moral will and moral skill.

A wise person knows when and how to make an exception to every rule.

A wise person knows how to improvise.

A wise person knows how to use moral skills to serve other people.

A wise person is made not born.

It takes lots of experience to learn how to care for other people.Wisdom depends on experience. Not just any kind of experience. You need the tmie to get to know the people you are serving . You need permission to be allowed to improvise and  to try new things and sometimes fail and learrn from your failures and you need to be mentored by wise teachers
